Rev. Skye Hallman McQuillan
Associate Pastor

A life devoted to God, directed toward ministry and fed by art…that’s an overview of Rev. Skye Hallman. From her childhood years in Texas, Skye was drawn to creating beautiful things through the visual arts. She pursued this love at the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington DC, and spent several years as an art specialist and manager in some of the District’s most prestigious art programs for children, such as the National Children’s Museum. Concurrently, she was heard God’s call to the ministry which eventually led her to continue her studies and earn a Master's of Divinity from Baptist Theological Seminary in Richmond, VA. Skye blends her background in art with her ministry to HBC's Adult, Children and Youth ministries, leading to creative and visually stunning activities that take a multi-sensory approach to spiritual development.
